Training
Acting:
I completed two summer courses in the Gaeity School of Acting; Acting for Beginners facilitated by actress and producer Aoibhín Murphy and Acting For Camera led by Gavin Cleland. I then went on to audition for and gain a place in GSA Select, which is the highest level course they have to offer among their part-time acting courses, which I completed in June 2024. Term 1 was taught by Simon Nader and was theatre focused, term two was taught by Noel Brady and was focused on screen acting with voiceover work covered by VO artist Tim O'Donovan. Term three was taught by Alan Howley with the focus on creating your own work. I enjoy the arts and in the past both MusicalSoc and DramSoc provided an outlet to explore my love of theatre in UCD where I was involved in a number of productions. More recently I've reignited my passion for theatre playing the character 'Second' in Anatomy of a Duel (Delgany Dramatic Society) gaining an award in the Bray One Act Festival. I played the lead role of Alison in the original horror drama 'Changeling' with No Drama Theatre Group as part of their annual Shindig that took place at the end of May 2023, we performed a version of the play on a larger scale in The Complex in Smithfield that November and again as part of Stage Fright Theatre Festival in Smock Alley October 2024. I performed in a physical theatre piece for Scene + Heard 2023 (Les Pickerpockets) and took part in the Raro Theatre Festival in the Teachers Club playing the role of Freya in Adventure Play. Recently I facilitated a drama summer camp with children in Turin, Italy through Action Theatre.
Presenting to camera:
I held a number of committee positions in UCDTV including Head of Drama, Head of General Production and Secretary. I spearheaded productions and tracked down interviews when special guests visited campus such as well-known Irish band Aslan and Oscar nominated director Lenny Abrahamson. We would regularly do vox-pops on campus which also helped to hone my presenting skills.
Singing:
Due to my involvement in a variety of musicals and choirs over the years I am a confident singer. My vocal range would be alto/mezzo-soprano. I'm learning guitar and can sing whilst playing chords.
