This month, we'll be chatting to actor, writer and producer Siobhán Aislinn about creating her own work as an actor, and we'd love for you to join us. We know that so many actors want to create their own work but don't quite know where to start. We want to help you to figure it out. 

About Siobhán
Siobhán Aislinn is an Irish actress, writer, and producer from Co. Kerry, now based in Dublin. She is the founder of Aisteoirí Productions, dedicated to telling Irish stories and supporting homegrown talent.

In 2023, she wrote, produced, and starred in the Irish feature film Blurred Lines, which has earned prestigious awards and an F-Rating from the Irish Film Institute for championing women in film. Siobhán won the Taking Flight: Rising Talent award at the Kerry International Film Festival in 2024 for her work on Blurred Lines. Learn more about Blurred Lines below.

Her screen credits include In Good Company (as Caoimhe), Your Vote is Your Voice (Electoral Commission), and #NoStigma (Tailored Films). A versatile performer, Siobhán has worked across film, television, theatre, voice-over, and musical productions. She trained at The MTA in London and later at Bow Street Academy in Dublin. She is represented by ReActors Agency and is a proud member of Irish Equity. 

You may have known Siobhán as our Youth Ambassador and Workshop Producer here at Fishpond in 2023 and 2024, showcasing her dedication to emerging Irish talent. We're always blown away by her creativity and drive, and we can't wait for you to hear her story.

About Blurred Lines
Blurred Lines follows six friends at a New Year’s Eve party where a drink is spiked, and buried secrets and conflicts come to light. The film explores themes of responsibility, consent, and the blurred lines within relationships. It’s a compelling and timely story that has already resonated with audiences.
