January Actor Mission & Talk / Ease into 2025

Dear Actors and Guardians,

Happy New Year! We hope you had a chance to unwind over the festive period and that your year is off to a lovely start.  

Every month this year, I'll be setting you / your young actor a simple and achievable task that's going to help you in your creative endeavours. Time and energy can get away from us all, so if you can only manage to do one small thing for yourself this month, I want to help you to do that.

January Mission
Your mission this month is to ease into 2025. January can be incredibly motivating for some, and incredibly tough for others. We want to help you ease into the year nicely and set yourself up for success in 2025. What were the highs and lows for you in 2024? What do you really want for yourself this year?

Resources
As always, we'll provide a resource to help you on your way - for January, we're going to integrate our monthly mission and our monthly talk, so you can use the conversation as your resource. We'll be holding our first talk of the year on Thursday 30th January at 6pm (approximately 45 minutes) where we'll be discussing various ways that you can improve your creative life and technique, to set you up for success this year. Then it will be up to you to set some goals for yourself when you feel ready to do so.

We'll be chatting about topics such as auditioning, educating yourself, work-life balance, relationships with casting directors and more. We'd love to hear from you too and will open up the conversation to anyone who'd like to share their perspective or ask a question. If you can't make it, you'll be able to watch back in your Video Library afterwards.

This live talk is open to all members of Fishpond, and we'd love to see you there. No need to book a spot, just join us online with the details below. There will be access for the first 100 people to join the call on the night.
