Congratulations to Matthew McMahon on your role as Mr Wolf in Stories from Backwoods, coming to RTÉ Junior on November 25th. What a fabulous project to work on with Ink and Light Film. Find out more about Matthew's work here.

"I voice Mr. Wolf in Ink and Light's 'Stories From Backwoods'. Mr. Wolf is a shrewd business-minded character always looking for his next entrepreneurial venture.

The role was posted on Fishpond, I applied and was invited to audition. I worked on the role over the last year. 

I had tremendous fun working on this animation. I was always the kid at home who used to put on voices and do impressions so this is the kind of work I love. I had a blast bringing Mr. Wolf to life."

About Stories From Backwoods
Rooney is a city raccoon and the first Park Ranger in Backwoods Forest. Utterly out of her depth in this strange new place, Rooney befriends the extremely enthusiastic but a little-too-loud local Hare. Hare helps Rooney tackle her new ranger tasks as they get to know each other and together they try to learn valuable lessons about friendship and community – with sometimes hilarious results.
