Summary
We have seen some great options who are still being considered but we are spreading the net wider and would like to see some more people for the mum and child before the final call is made.
Also the mum role can now be a mum or dad and the child is still a boy or girl.
We have a slight change of course in the approach to this project - the director is keen to open this up now and allow anyone interested to film a tape over the weekend which would need to be in by 4pm Monday at the latest.

Where to upload your tape
Please upload your clip by clicking "Apply" under the correct role and following the steps. We can only accept tapes this way. (You don't need to create an account to upload).

Rehearsal day is March 19
Covid test on March 19 also. All cast will need to take a covid test.
Shoot dates are March 22 & 23. Cast should be available for both full days.

Child - Still casting for this role
Playing age: 4 - 7 years old
Could be a boy or girl, the main thing is they have the right personality to carry the piece. They’ll be at this magical age, with just the right amount of naivety that we totally believe their relationship with their ‘new best friend’, bringing us into their reality without really having to act.
We're looking for kids with great imaginations who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty when they're playing outside. We'd love to see some kids who have some experience and are strong natural actors - we're also open to kids who don't have acting experience yet but have great imaginations and super personalities.
They can be based anywhere in Ireland. Please let us know which county his/her accent is from when applying. Should have an Irish accent.

Should be a good story teller.
Very natural and subtle performer.

Mr Murphy - No further suggs needed
Playing age: 55 - 64 years old
won’t have any lines beyond a hello but he should be able to convey a lot with a little, as his look and response to the kid will be moment of warmth and humour in the ad.

Actors age 18 and upwards
