By now, you’ll know that we’ve launched a bright and sparkling new version of Fishpond, with space for you to create a beautiful professional profile. We want to help you make your profile the very best it can be, and show off your talent to all the casting directors using Fishpond. Instead of our usual self-taping challenge, for our Summer Showcase we want to help you to finesse your profile. Whether you’re applying for a role or a caster finds you in a private search, your profile is gold and is what will help them decide if you’re the right fit for a role. The Fishpond team will work with casting director (and FP founder) Ali Coffey to choose some standout profiles.

Get Seen
Ali’s top talent will be shared directly with our full caster database of over 1,000 industry professionals. This includes casting directors, directors, producers, and production companies across Ireland, the UK, and beyond. In addition, we’ll add a Showcase Winner badge to your Fishpond profile, so that casters using Fishpond can easily spot you. We’ll also be proud to share your profile across our platform, in our newsletters, and on our social media channels.
Get Feedback
Every single actor who takes part in the Showcase will receive feedback on their profile. If shortlisted as one of the most polished, you’ll receive direct feedback from Ali. If not shortlisted, the Fishpond team will offer specific feedback on the strong parts of your profile, and where there’s room for improvement. Following the Showcase results, we’ll also hold a live in-depth meetup where we’ll talk more about professional profiles and how to make yours stand out. No one else is doing this. We believe that actors thrive with clear, constructive feedback, not just a yes or no. Our Showcase helps you grow, builds your confidence, and strengthens your skills. It’s not about competition. It’s about getting seen, staying inspired, and levelling up your craft together.
